Teeth flossing

Tonight we got a little silly with teeth flossing, and Juni ended up lying on her back on the floor because she didn't want to stand up. A classmate of Juni's had to get a cap and root canal on a tooth recently, and was told it was because she wasn't flossing. I didn't know that 3 year olds need to floss! So we have added it to our nightly routine.

Big-sister-to-be gifts

Juni got gifts from 3 of my co-workers at my work baby shower on Monday. Such a good idea--all from experienced Moms of more than one child, so they understand how important it is to make the older child feel special, too, while the new baby gets a lot of attention. I was so touched by their thoughtfulness! Here's a picture just after Juni opened one of the gifts--Dora The Explorer plate, bowl & cup!

Baby shower by co-workers

My co-workers threw me a surprise baby shower yesterday! I was so touched by their thoughtfulness and generosity. Loads of gifts for the baby boy to be. Such love and a fun time. We are blessed.

Novato Christmas house

In the spirit of finding free things to do while celebrating the holidays, we drove up to Novato to see this locally famous house with loads of Christmas decorations inside and out. The house has an enormous number of Christmas decoration collectables. Here are a few pictures from the INSIDE of the house. This generous family opens its doors to thousands of strangers every year (for the past 20 years).
