Impressive carving

I heard that one of Juni's school mate's dad was a professional pumpkin carver. Really? I never heard of such a thing. This was definitely the best jack o lantern I saw tonight.

Best dressed

Here's the W family at Juni's preschool's pumpkin party.

Juni and Daddy carved pumpkins on Wednesday. Design by Juni, carving by Daddy. The top one is Joey with his two teeth on bottom. The big pumpkin is Juni because it has "a gone teeth" says Juni.

The tooth is out!

Juni lost her tooth Tuesday night. She put it under her pillow and in the morning found it replaced with $1.00. So exciting! She looks so silly with a missing tooth.

Walker toy

This is not exactly how this toy was meant to be used but it is what Joey came up with his first time with it. He had a blast!

Righty tighty

Bob is complimenting Juni's preschool education with some at-home lessons. The other night Juni kept saying "righty tighty". I know they have been focusing on learning about buildings and architecture this month. Bob got out this airplane and power tool toy set that Juni got for her birthday. He explained righty tighty and lefty loosey and demonstrated the difference. Here is a picture of her putting the plane together with screws.

Loose teeth

Juniper's two front bottom teeth are loose!!! I cried when I found out. I did not expect this to happen so soon. I thought loose teeth would happen in 1st grade. She's only in pre-K! She's 4 1/2. OMG.

At dinner tonight she told me that her front bottom teeth hurt when she bites food and so she is only using her back teeth to bite and chew. I was concerned that she might have decay, so I inspected her mouth during toothbrushing and saw the loose teeth and the widened pockets around the teeth. I asked Bob to google the normal age for this and he found age 4 to 7 is the range. She teethed early as a baby-- at 4 months old she got her front two bottom teeth. It looks like those will also be the first to go. My baby girl! She won't be a baby for sure anymore if she looses all her baby teeth. Even though I was shocked and sad about it, I told her it was going to be fun to loose her teeth and that she will look silly with holes in her smile. We laughed a lot about it. She's so excited.

3 times a day

This is my view 3 times a day on work days. I'm using this pump for the second time. I used it until Juni was 16 months old, and now Joey is 8 months old. The bag (which is attached to the pump) starting ripping in four spots and the yellow foam lining was showing. Last night I got out a needle and thread and did a quick stitching job on the areas. You can see it on the top right of the bag.  It made me happy this morning to see all black again when the bag was zipped up.
