We have an annual tradition to go bowling with friends every Super Bowl weekend. This year it was just the three of us and we went bowling at a place in our town. We had plans to meet friends in a town that is about an hour south of us, but we took a late nap today and then slept for 3 hours so by the time we woke up we had missed out on the group bowling event. I say WE napped because all three of us took a long afternoon nap. It was great. I was tired after a busy week at work, and it was great to be able to sleep when I wanted to today. Here are some pictures from our family game at our local bowling alley. Bob won! Oh, and even though Juniper is too young to bowl, we played with bumpers up on the lane. They were up when we got there and we didn't ask about taking them down. Juniper liked looking at all the bowling balls and surprised me when she was able to lift an 8 lbs ball. Maybe she will bowl next year?
