Pizza Friday

"What can you do to promote world peace? Go home and love your family" -Mother Theresa

Tonight for dinner we had home made gluten-free dairy-free broccoli pizza. It was super yummy. And we ate gluten-free chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I did a lot of cooking and baking today, which felt good for me and our little family. There has been colds going around in our house lately which means we've been staying home to rest. The good part of that is relaxed time together.

I am catching up on news tonight and watched Obama's speech in Arizona. Such a tragedy reminds me of the uncertainty of life. I am grateful for the time I spent with Juni today. I have off on Fridays usually, and can have a 3-day weekend as long as I can get my work completed in 4 days at my day job. One of my intentions for the new year is to do my best to keep my work time to during the week, and save the weekends for family, friends and relaxation.

Happy Friday!

Ps. Yesterday I learned that Juniper now can do a somersault. I was so impressed with her skill. She can do it over and over again on command, happily.
