These pictures were taken on Juniper's actual birthday. It was day one of her 4 day birthday marathon. Her friend from preschool had a birthday party on Juniper's actual birthday (but not the friend's actual birthday) and we were happy to go to the fun playdate/party. When it was time to sing "happy birthday", to my surprise they added "and Juniper" into the song, and then invited Juni to help blow out the candles. She was so happy about it. I think she was surprised, too, because I had explained several times that the party was for her friend even though, yes, it was Juni's birthday.
