Moved to the crib

Here's a couple pictures of our adorable baby boy this morning as we were getting ready to leave for the day.

He has started sleeping in the crib in the kids' room. It has been 4 nights now that he slept in a separate room from me. Previously he was sleeping in the co-sleeper playard next to our bed. Now that the weather is colder I don't like him being so close to the floor where it is cooler. The crib mattress is higher from the ground, and it is also generally warmer in the kids' room. Now that Joey is 11 months old I feel ready to sleep in a different room. It helps to know that Juni is in the bed next to him to keep him company.

His sleep/eat schedule the past 4 nights has been that he wakes up at midnight and at 4 am for feedings and then goes back to sleep. He goes to bed for the night between 8 and 9 pm and gets up for the day at about 7 am. I am starting to think about night weaning, but also pretty focused on getting as much milk into him as he will drink. The first step was to get him into a different room for sleep because I think he was starting to wake up more often when I was right next to him and responding so quickly to his every whimper. My milk supply has decreased ever since a week before Christmas when I had a cold. He has been eating more solid foods, too, and therefore less hungry for milk. So I'm not sure how concerned I need to be about increasing my supply. So far I have been able to keep up with his demand, but I am pumping more often in order to do so.

He's consistently happy and loving and I enjoy my time with him very very much! Juni is the best at making him smile and laugh and she likes to tell people that she is his favorite.
